Because he doesn't want the video to be like 50 minutes long because majority of trains especially freight takes 2-3 minutes at normal speed to go through

I fast forward videos so a slow moving freight/coal train doesn’t take 2-3 minutes on the video.

Sorry but I find it crazy that someone could sit 50 mins watching every single freight car going passed. Fast forwarding the video saves so much time and is more convenient.
