V-8 diesels are pointless. You buy a diesel for torque and mileage. Besides almost all class 8 trucks(semis) run I-6s, John Deere’s, most excavation equipment run i-6. Plus it’s a more balanced engine. 6 in a row ready to tow 8 in a v you probably sit down to pee.

It requires a LOT of crop to produce. Like a large-ish field will only fill a few fuel tanks, regular diesel is a lot easier to come by. Its supply and demand, demand is too high for bio diesel to be viable as mainstream fuel

I drive a diesel myself (1.9 to be specific) and also piss off BMW drivers who tailgate me by downshifting and reminding them to keep their distance, however specifically modifying your car to produce more smoke and waste fuel is ... plainly stupid. Ok... sure climate change yada yada... don't believe it... but here's my suggestion, how about you try staying in that smog for a bit, I mean you don't seem to be concerned about putting it in the air.

With diesels, it's not just the CO2, but NOx and particulates. Good torque and mileage for towing, but they're also much more polluting than gas engines.
