I am sorry to report that this elevator was completely replaced recently. I believe it was done earlier this year when other parts of the building were being renovated. The hall stations were replaced of course, and the old cab was completely removed and replaced with a modern one which has regular old horizontally-opening doors. I was quite disappointed when I discovered it.
