That place would be perfect for a 1920's, 1930's set for a movie or tv series! love the elevator too, the inner gate reminds me of the elevator in Lopdell house, Titirangi, West Auckland, New Zealand (I am hoping they haven't replaced the car, would love to have it if they ever do and put it in my parents house - they have a platform elevator for when they get too old to walk up and down stairs properly)

This elevator might be from c. 1906! (building was built in 1906, at least according to one website) Do you know if this elevator is overhead drive, or basement drive? This elevator might have a winding drum machine based on how old it is.
