I have petrol 124s and a petrol 126 but still your channel is good for these kind of videos that apply to all models and you did a good job as usual very clear instructions thank you for taking the time to make these videos you are helping a lot of people maintain their own cars and saving them money at the same time. I hope you will also begin to feature some petrols cars as well if possible in the future. Thanks once again for your efforts 👍🏽

i didn't realise that hook was so critical! i'm definitely gonna go search inside the door for it. i didn't know what to do about all the broken plastic mounting parts for the screws either- thanks for the method :)

I have fixed a few of those hooks by sanding between the ribs then cut strips of steel clothes hanger and bend them into the right shape. Then put the pieces of clothes hanger between the ribs of the hook with j.b weld. Allow 24 hours to dry. I have fixed all the broken clips on all 4 of my panels and still holding after 3 years. It is a very strong repair if you allow plenty of cure time.

This is a very precise - excellent repair of MB W124 door handle and door panel. I prefer MB W124 1st series (1985-1989) much more than MB W124 second series (1989-1993).
