Would this be a good style for someone who is MUCH taller than everyone else? I'm 6'9", 210. Skinny basketball player muscle. The issue is that when I get into a clinch with people much shorter than me, but weight about the same, my arms drape off of them and I don't have a lot of control. However, when they finally hook me (although it is harder for them because I am so tall), they use all their weight and leverage and just dominate contorlling me.

Hello Sylvie! Thanx for these great videos, you do a great job to introduce the real Muay thai. I have just 3 question to be answered if yoh have just little time. Question: 1 Where can i take Privat tuition With Ajarn Dieselknoi?? Question :2 Can you take a straight step back from clinch stance to knee or is it wrong? i mean from clinch-stance. Because some coaches says its wrong to step back from clinch stance. Question:3 Is Ajarn Dieselknoi a knee fighter or a clinch fighter ? is there any differences there? Thanx a lot and keep doing this great work.

Are these techniques as applicable at around the 6'0 - 6'1 height? Or more so for the super tall and skinny body types like dieselnoi and others?

They can be successfully used by all body types I believe. (As a bit of trivia, Dieselnoi is about 6'1" also.)

The gym is Petchrungruang in Pattaya. Dieselnoi does not have a gym, but he does visit sometimes.
