A set of rollers top and bottom would reduce friction and likely see an increase in speed of projectile, ease of draw, and possibly a quieter shot if you install them solidly with good bearings.

That's a really neat, almost sci-fi kind of bow. I could see something like that being featured in Fallout or maybe a cyberpunk game (if you add some neon tubes or RGB strips, LOL). It gives me Ideas that I have no idea how to implement in a tabletop game, for sure!
