【Dietrich Pants】The Library of Draping, Kondo's draping archive, ディートリヒパンツ

The Dietrich pants were originally designed as men's-style trousers favoured by the 1930s actress Marlene Dietrich. They are characterised by several pleats on the front trousers, but the volume of the trousers changed with the trends of the time. In this video, we have draped the trousers in a very wide silhouette for a modern look.
ディートリッヒパンツは、1930年代の女優マレーネ・ディートリッヒが当時愛用したメンズスタイルのパンツがデザインのが始まり。前パーツに数本のプリーツがあるのが特徴ですが、そのボリューム感は時代の流行によって変化します。今回の動画では、かなりワイドなシルエットにドレーピングして現代的に仕上げています。

Such a beautiful piece! You used a shoulder pad and it made me wonder if the belt is equal to the length of the slope (am I using the right word here🤔) or if the slope (waist line?) slightly longer than the belt? Thank you, ofcource we enjoyed the video 😊! absolutely!

Thanks for watching the video. The shoulder pads are used for sizing, so it is up to you to decide where and how much padding you want to use. You can use the pads to make your hips bigger or your legs thicker.
