They are not meant to used with that type of crimp, they are for crimping bootlace ferrules.

Je possède 9 pinces de la marque (dont celle-ci) elles sont d’excellente qualité il faut par contre savoir que le système de bloquage lâche au bout d’un an environ en usage professionnel bien sûr. Vous vivez où? les sons derrière sont tellement exotiques!

Hah, I've always thought lineman's pliers are virtually useless tools. And to be truth I still think they are and as I have found really little practical use for them I was thinking that do even electricians use them that much as they don't have 1. Good fast strippers. 2. Crimping tool which I have as separate pliers at my work when I do bit of wiring etc. But I gotta tell that this Lineman's pliers model looks very tempting. What is the smallest bootlace ferrule you can crimp with them? I suppose small automation sized ones are getting out of use range?
