Its so annoying when they cut out snippets. In the original airing, Drummond took about three drinks before Willis had his first. (Willis was trying to nurse it slowly before "down the hatch". This always seems to happen. It's aggravating.

I don't mean to be rude but *SPOILER ALERT IF YOU NEVER SAW THIS EPISODE* After Willis Deliberately goes to that party Mr. D Grounds him And then Willis decides to move into his friend Jerry's Apartment They are drinking Which leads them to the end of the episode which made me cry Willis and Jerry were DUI Willis got minor injuries But Jerry was very hurt and fell in a coma And then *(I'm crying remembering this part now)* The Phone rings Pearl answers it And that it was the hospital Pearl gave the phone to Willis And he asked if Jerry was ok Then after a brief moment of silence He was told that Jerry had died Willis started to cry and said "Oh No.." 😭😭😭😭 The saddest and darkest moment on Different Strokes

Honestly, you're better off for it. Alcohol is essentially poison/toxin. Your Liver filters it out, but, it's not good for anybody to be consuming. Being drunk can be awful if you get SO drunk that you end up sick and with a hangover the next morning. Not fun at all.

Being a high-caliber neurodivergent (autistic) individual, i was always impervious to peer pressure whilst at high school in Anaheim, CA well more than three decades ago. i vividly remember when my mother forbade me to attend a party at the house of a high school classmate whose parents might have traveled for the weekend to places like: (1) Las Vegas, NV; (2) Palm Springs, CA; (3) Big Bear City - Lake Arrowhead, CA; (4) Santa Barbara, CA; and (5) San Diego, CA.
