Even though she appeared in several more episodes after filming this one, this episode was the last to air for the season and was her last as a regular cast member. She was expecting and starting to show more....her last two filmed episodes were the two-parter when Philip marries Maggie. She did not appear in the final three taped episodes of the season.

One of her last episodes was when she had a eating disorder . Phil was with Maggie then so I think she did appear in a least one more episode after phil married Maggie in the double header special . Tho it was about 30 years since I watched it I remember her sneeking down stairs and eating a huge cake then making herself sick.

Perhaps this is a minor thing to mention, but the camera moves over to Pearl and Mr. Drummond when Willis and Arnold go upstairs. When they are heading for the stairs, Willis is in front of Arnold. When they are going upstairs, Arnold goes up first and Willis is behind him. Perhaps while they were not shown on the camera, Willis let Arnold in front of them, or perhaps it took several takes, and it was just one of those many continuity goofs that Sit-coms have.

I haven’t seen the whole episode, just this scene. However, Drummond just seemed to be overly rude and condescending to Kimberly’s date. Any father I have met from high school through adulthood has always be polite and nice. Telling a man who started his own business that his business is going to out of business, and then asks him if he bought a stapler is uncalled for. Drummond couldn’t handle it when he threw it back at him that he inherited his money. If you can’t take it, don’t dish it out.

Normally i would side with mr. Drummond on everything, he’s such a stand up guy, and i would normally trash the arrogant guy that David portrays. This time however I’d say mr. Drummond got a little taste of his own medicine. If you don’t like the guy thats fine, you don’t have to like him but you also don’t have to belittle him or put him down just because. I will also say this, mr. Drummond has a problem with Kims dating an older guy but is ok with her seeing ¨ a lot ¨ of other guys? Parents normally don’t like seeing their daughters dating a lot of guys.
