I loved Different Strokes. It’s so sad that Dana and Gary have both passed on. R.I.P 🙏🏼 to them both. I read Todd’s book and I’m very happy he overcame everything his childhood threw at him, it was a lot. Stay well, Todd.

I went down an 80's rabbit hole earlier in the week, and got through 3 seasons of Diff'rent strokes. I'm actually thankful Todd Bridges is not only still around, but doing fine. He and Gary Coleman took that decade on their shoulders, so it would be memorable for the rest of us. Todd Bridges got jokes too. 😆

Joe Jackson I've always heard was a real asshole
@lastdays31486 жыл бұрын
Yes I also believe that Joe Jackson may have had a part in their breaking up. Also Mr.Bridges he was a wild Teenager and into the party drug scene in Hollywood. We would never know the whole truth of their relationship but they were definitely in love with one another.
@niwmi32745 жыл бұрын
Joe, as any father, wouldn't want their daughter around all the drugs. He kept his own sons occupied so that they wouldn't get into drugs, so why would he want his young kids getting involved with that. Of course she ended up marrying someone that was involved with drugs, but that, too, she got out of, bc of that.

Why does everyone say he is the "only surviving member of the different strokes cast." That's bullshit. Danny Cooksey is alive and well. I hate how everyone treats him like the bastard stepchild that doesn't exist. He was in the last 3 seasons and on the cover of the dvd's alongside Willis and Arnold, WTF!?
@jamesmuller14814 жыл бұрын
@Kani Fuker I consider Danny Cooksey & Mary Jo Catlett original members because there was never a remake. They are original members of the show. They just came in later seasons. I grew up on the show and they were on it. I don't care what anyone says.
