Michael’s death was the weirdest because it was like the whole world stopped and mourned him. I mean there were crowds of people in cities all over the world singing and dancing to his music after they learned he had passed away. Not only that but everyone remembers that day, how they found out about it and where they were. People were going around and talking to others they didn’t know and were like “did you hear about Michael Jackson?” Like it was the craziest day. We will never see that happen again. Michael was the best of the best and we won’t have another like him.

The death of this man left a giant hole that cannot be filled, not only in the music industry, but in the much wider world of spirituality, social activism, compassion and creativity...he was maybe the only celebrity who gave a real consistent example to humanity. 12 years later I still miss him and feel his absence like a punch in the stomach. It makes me sick to think how much he coulve done if they let him in peace. The man lived only 50 years and has done unimaginable things, just imagine if he lived another 50

The world did him so so dirty. Even me who wasn't a fan of his could see that. Yeah the man had flaws, but what mortal on this planet Earth DOESN'T have flaws. But he was the most loving gentle person who really gave a damn about people. And some disgusting folks took advantage of that 😢. Now we will never what kinds of things he would have done in this day and age where we need love and together-ness more than ever 😔. I think that's what draws me the most to him a lot more than his music... It's his spirit 😇. To this day Michael, Whitney Houston, and Chadwick Boseman are the only celebrity deaths that have hit me particularly the hardest. Prayers still go out for their souls that they have finally found some much needed peace 🙏.

I lost my brother in 1992. I was 21 and he was 23. He passed right after having surgery. I will never forget the realization that the world around you moves on. It may seem naïve, but, at that age you think so much time and so many possibilities in life are ahead of you. It still seems like it happened yesterday. It took a while for me to again enjoy the things we shared together. Many people relate to him because of his music; they know him as son, brother, uncle, and father. Those moments when you have a memory that only your sibling can attest to; you want to call them and have that moment of laughter and say, "do you remember when...?" That is a piece of the puzzle in their family that is forever gone. Cherish every moment.

The day Michael passed away hit me with immense sadness. I had always believed he would be a constant presence in our lives, as he had been for so long. He helped me through difficult times, a was always a light in my life. It's heartbreaking to know that he often placed his trust in the wrong people, who treated him so poorly, pretending to be his closest friends. The media, press, and envy from others in the entertainment industry sought to bring him down, but his loyal fans only grew stronger in unity. The shock and grief were unbearable for his children, who had to endure such a profound loss. I'm grateful that they found solace within a loving family, forming close bonds with Taj, Taryll, TJ, as well as Katherine, uncles, aunties, and cousins - just as Michael had hoped. However, it's disheartening to see that even to this day, some individuals attempt to fabricate false accusations for their own financial gain. It is a sad reminder that despite his passing, Michael's legacy is still tarnished by these deceitful attempts. His legacy deserves better than that.

It took me a long time to get over the fact Michael Jackson passed away I was, still am and will always be a fan of his. His music always brings me joy and happiness I remember rushing to go and buy his albums when they were released because he always brought out something special and different each time no one else could bring to their music. MJ was truly captivating and on another level that I can't explain to this very day.

I was born in Brazil and lived in an orphanage before getting adopted by an American family. I remember being 4 years old listening to Michael in the orphanage . When I moved to the states o was even more obsessed with his gift. The day he died was the hardest time ever, not only was my favorite singer gone, but the happiness he gave me was gone. I fainted hearing about his death , I cried for months . That’s how much this man meant and still means to me . Think about being in an orphanage having nothing but his music. He got me Through a lot of hard times . I never knew him personally , but when he died it felt Like a family member passed away . It shattered me . I hope I see him in heaven along with my birth mom who passed seat when I was 3. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So true ❤ amazing how he was always sure of his purpose and mission in life from the beginning. I'm still trying to figure my life out in my 30s ...i guess it made sense because he had limited time on earth and so much to accomplish he had no time to waste. The force showed him the way.

Prince and Michael Jackson were deathly frail, before they passed. Sheila E. said the same thing about Prince's pain. By 2015....Prince was dependent on his walking cane, more.....and he was 10 pounds too thin. The same with Michael. Michael and Prince were always slim.....but, it was healthy weight. Pain meds suppress a healthy appetite. Also, poor Michael was stressed about the tour.....and he was scared about opening himself to a disgusting world which nearly killed him, in 2005. When I saw the "This Is It" footage....I said, "Michael was not healthy". I don't care what those fake "friends" tried to say. Anyone who was born before 1980.....we knew the difference. I watched that memorial live, in a NYC theater (via satellite feed). Once that gold casket was ushered out by Michael's brothers.....I cried, non-stop. Michael and Whitney Houston were the only 2 people I didn't know, personally......but, I cried uncontrollably, during their funeral.

Prince even had his own recording studio. Now who would want that to stop? And it did, didn't it. MJ didn't hire Conrad, he was sent by the industry. So I have doubts.

Later on she drove me to school and all the radio stations were talking about him passing away, my mom said “Can you believe it? “ at first I thought they were talking about the basketball player I saw once in a movie called Space Jam with the looney tunes lol but later on that day we had a talent show going on. And the kid representing our class was a big fan of a dancer who also sang, he arrived late at school with puffy eyes and I couldn’t understand why. It was time for the talent show to start and the moment everyone saw him dressed up with a black tuxedo and a black hat everyone started crying including him. He won first place. I came back home still confused about who this guy was, I talked about it with my grandma, she stood up, went to her closet and took out an 80’s Original copy of Thriller and told me “the guy who made this masterpiece is the one they’re talking about, listen to it, and you’ll know who he was” Im Mexican, I’ve lived in Mexico my whole life, and all the people involved in this story are Mexican as well, and I’m sharing this with you because I’m able to speak in English thanks to listening to his music. Thank for taking your time reading this.
