As a Byzantine Catholic this is the closest to Palamite hesychasm meditation! Consciousness and awareness distinction is similar with Meister Eckhart ground of being comparison. There's nothing but pure existence except level of existence. One is beyond created existence and others exist in vegetative state. With hesychasm meditation one come closer to participate in the uncreated energies. During Assisi Prayer St John Paul II invited all religious leaders to pray together. He argued the difference between religions are real but not substantive because deep down whatever true is truth itself. One may confuse the label and miss the core truth. One could be fixated with the label and become fundamentalists.

Everything is conscious but everything is not aware of its conscious. Conscious awareness is the awareness of being conscious.
