Your corneal thickness says that you may have a disease called "Keratoconus". You should get checked this by an opthalmologist first. If you have keratoconus, you shouldn't proceed for laser-based refractive surgery.

Wrong information about advantages of contuora vision is being spread due to vested interest. Contoura vision is the biggest marketing gimmick to hit refractive surgery procedure and it is influencing patients wrongly and making them spend double of what they need. Contuora vision is nothing more than a trade name of Alcon co. Lasik procedure that they are marketing for their own commercial gains. It has no benefit over normal Lasik for a vast majority of patients because the special features of contuora are never required in majority of cases. It's like riding a race car at a speed of 60 kms because it's not possible or required to travel any faster than that except in some rare situations. It's only those rare occasions that the race car is required. Patients should be careful to not get influenced by this marketing tactic & end up wasting their money.
