Japanese also have street fashion style (harajuku ) which is mix and match clothing with vivid colours and patterns . Some girls fashion are trend to be feminine like GRL brand , they might have ruffle, floral pattern and chiffons ect on their clothings. All the japanese fashion are depend on perference. But some of them also wear minimalist and baggy clothes for comfy. For hairstyles, they also do layering . Some women and girls will braid their hair after they curl their hair or not. I love japanese style most because of its comfy. Want to share some interesting fashion fact from my hometown (HK) I think some girl love to wear clothing inspired by western style looks smart, feminine or minimalist ( I haven’t back here for long time since I spent my life and study in AUS. It might not too accurate but it will be interesting hear about from other Hong Kong fashion lover ) But, it is ture that they are usually on Whatsapp for text and video call. 🤣

@Crackhead_HoursАй бұрын
There are a shit tone of Japanese fashion styles and they’re not really decided based of loose or tight. Some do have a unique and distinct silhouette though. Here are a few: There’s also Lolita fashion or egl fashion (HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOOK NAME HAS DIFFERENT ORIGINS) and it’s very girly inspired by Victoria and rococo era fashion. Ouji fashion (which can be considered the male version of Lolita fashion) There’s decora (super bright rainbow colors and a lot of accessories) something shiro which you usually paint your face white and wear white clothing (I don’t remember the specifics but it blends a lot of styles from harajuku street fashion) Jirai kei, which if you seen the day form of the girl from needy streamer over then you’ll get it. It has a stereotype of girls being suicidal, crazy, and more which is totally not always the case and people in the sun style fight back against that prejudice. Fairy kei (which is kinda like a pastel and less chaotic version of decora imo) gyaru fashion (which started to rebel against the Japanese beauty standards and school rules) A lot of these fashion styles come as a form of rebellion from pressures to conform and to be able to express oneself properly. These are some of the ones that come off the top of my head. I’m a Lolita (again it originated from Japan and had no connection to the book) and dabble in jirai fashion from time to time.
@606aichan7O7Ай бұрын
fellow HK oversea-er~ (UK tho) Smarter styles, especially asymmetrical stuff seem to look good on me, but I just wanna try lolita styles (I'm too shy + plus sized {for an Asian female, I'm kinda tall, but also overweight - was like, borderline obese by UK standards tho so...progress✨~}+ just general lack of confidence 😭) I managed to buy a fluffy petticoat because ✨fluffy✨ tho (I think it's less of a petticoat and more just a fluffy layered outer skirt tho....) (also I earned giftcards from one of those apps, and thought why not) I also wanted the petticoat with all the little star lacing on the bottom, but I thought "UK, cold, fluffy, warm, brain = yes"

Hi~~ love hair stuff, and I've lived in all 3 countriesss Since you didn't mention Chinese hairstyles, I think Chinese hairstyles is much longer hair for women than the other countries. They prefer natural hair generally! And would prefer to style it with products/curlers rather than permanently perming/colouring in the regular. Straight perm is quite popular though. They prefer to avoid putting chemicals, so they don't spend a lot of money on hair maintenance like colouring/perming/hair health (probably cos they dont need it). But there's less variety of female hairstyles because of this, but its okay because they prefer to show a lot of individuality with their clothes fashion. And the male hairstyles use a lot of styling products and tend to go for a masculine vibe and a lot of fades~~ Generally the Chinese like to keep their natural beauty for their hair~~ Korean female hairstyles are generally very sensitive to trends. So it dependsss. They tend to colour their hair a lot but that also is trend-based. (Current trend is the refreshing youthful long long black hair bc of NewJeans haha) Their hair health is alright, mostly focused on healthy diet and vitamins rather than products. They do a lot of hair work in salons~~ so there's a lot of people with fried hair hehe. Korean women generally have medium length hair. Their male hairstyles are much more varied than other countries~ perming hair for men is a very regular and common thing. Down perm is a very korean thing. I think the men hair style game in Korea is really top notch! Japanese hairstyle, I totally agree with you. A lot of men with long hair (even in older gens), and there is a lot of women with either very short hair or very long hair. They focus on hair HEALTH a lot. They go to hair salons often. They use a lot of time and products to take care of their natural hair. You'll see in japan, their hair is very glossy and healthy. They love to put cute accessories in their hair and do diff hairstyles. But you will see a lot of people with all kinds of hair colours in japan, so you might wonder how they keep it so healthy--> When their hair is coloured etc very often they tend to try wigs instead. They use a lot of wigs! Wigs in japan are amazing quality, very affordable and can look really natural.
