+Pawan Gangwar sure... Will make videos on servicing next month. We should service the Polo once in 15000 km or 1 year whichever comes first. For new car there is a free checkup at 7500 or 6 months whichever comes first. It is recommended to service at VW workshop for the first free checkup at 7500 km and first service at 15000 km. Afterwards you can service it anywhere at a reliable workshop.

+aneestus sm General Maintenance cost will be marginally higher than other cars. If you maintain it properly it will cost from 10000 to 13000 per service. Ameo has to be serviced once in 15000 km or one year whichever comes first. If you do not maintain or handle properly, repair charges are higher than other cars as VW spare parts are expensive.

+chiranjeevi sornapudi 1. there is no seat belt warning in VW Polo. In this video I have shown Seat belt warning from my Maruti Suzuki Swift. 2. We get acoustic warning when we open the door while the ignition is switched ON. If you don't get acoustic warning, please get it corrected in a VW Workshop. It might be a software issue. Thank you.

Hello Dilip, good job on what you have been doing by far. I have a doubt here: We need Experts Assistance when the pertinent symbols display consistently? What if they blink and go off soon after the ignition is turned on? For instance, yellow tap symbol (exhaust gas one/C converter) blinks when I turn on the ignition and goes off after a while. Can I ignore that or needs any check?

Hello sir, This polo 1.2 petrol 3 cylinder engine has adequate power(especially in hill climb)? when compare to other cars in this segment. I feels that power gets drop out when I turn ON the A/c. The polo 1.2 petrol has very less low end torque. That is at slower speeds, the pick up is low. It is because of its weight. Other than that, it is a fantastic car. I have travelled to many hill stations & I haven't faced any issues. Please watch my video titled How good is the VW Polo to drive at the hills. It has adequate power for hill climb.

+sulthan warrior That symbol indicates Alternator fault. Your Car battery will not get recharged if the Alternator fails. So, the battery will become dead soon and you cannot start your car. If Alternator fault warning lamp lights up, you have to immediately check your car's alternator at a workshop.

Please take your car to the VW workshop and explain your problem. It might be a minor software problem that can be corrected easily.

1. EPC stands for Electronic power control... If it lights up when the engine is on then it means there are problems with the Engine management system of the car. Car should be immediately checked at a workshop. 2. If ABS light turns on when the engine is running, it means there is a problem in Anti lock braking system of your car. Get the ABS checked at a workshop. You can drive without ABS. But it is not safe.

+karthik vernekar I belong to Middle Class and I have no problem in using & maintaining the Volkswagen Polo... Ameo is also exactly similar to Polo. It costs from Rs. 8000 to Rs.13000 per service and it has to be serviced once in 15000 km or 1 year whichever comes first. The general service cost is only slightly higher when compared to other cars if you maintain and handle it properly. But if not maintained or handled properly, repair charges would be high as Volkswagen spare parts are expensive.

When you turn on the ignition, the ECU runs a test through the system. The lights go off coz they're all okay. Some go off before you start the engine, while some go off later

+Autoporal &motor beam please don't ignore that. If that lamp is litting up when the Engine is running it means there is a fault that affects exhaust gas. Please get your Engine checked in a Workshop. In case if you ignore, it will lead to expensive repair works...

+Santosh Varaganti when driving through bad roads and potholes, you have to be careful... You have to drive at a lower speed. If you are not careful, the car will take a hit in its underbody. It is not the problem with the Polo or Vento... it is the problem with all the hatchback and Sedan. That's why crossovers and mini SUVs are selling like hot cakes in India as the road conditions are bad here.

Thank you for your prompt reply. the main point they put across was the service expenses. according to my friend, ford aspire total service cost is 1750 for one time. i have few clarifications : 1. whether ameo has static cornering light function or not ? 2. can i change LED bulb for headlight and foglight. if yes, which one is best. 3. can i change my headlight into auto headlight ? since i am in China, i can bring accessories from here, but since Ameo only in India, i am not sure which model is suitable.
