Hi Dilip , Taken delivery of my new polo TDI highline plus 6.5 inch Apple car play and android auto was superb It had rain sensing and auto dimming feature too and In my last review comment i told rain sensing wipers and auto dimming was not in high line plus ( information was given wrong by sales executive) .. VW didn't disappoint they have given that feature along with upgraded player Hand rest and rear ac and 16 inch alloy was a plus It's worth spending 30000 more than high line to get a high line plus I want to bring this to notice to every one who are gonna take polo Thanks

Hello, I am also looking to buy VW anniversary edition 1.2 l petrol car. Undoubtedly,VW comes first in terms of build & safety standards. But the thing which strikes me most is the after sales service/ maintenance cost (Approx Rs 10,000 per 15000km). Moreover it's resell value is low as compared to Hyundai. Right now I am confused in between Hyundai elite I20 petrol & VW polo. Please guide me.

+soumya ranjan you have already answered your questions by yourself... :) If you want the best build quality and very good steering that gives accurate feedback, go for the VW Polo. But, it costs slightly higher on Maintenance and rear seat is suitable only for 2 adults. If you want better rear seat space, good resale value and lower maintenance cost then go with i20. Also, Hyundai has a widespread service network for hassle free after sales services. You have to choose a car based on your priorities... But I would recommend the Polo due to its awesome build quality.

Hi Dilip, I have seen most of your Polo reviews ,all are really good, I'm facing an issue with my new Polo-HL (TDI) , Just getting the control on the clutch since it is new, (earlier I have used Swift and other Hyundai vehicles) , the car stops suddenly due to the bad clutch control in the traffic , then i tried to start the car again immediately (with all basic procedure) but it is taking some time to start , if you are familiar with this issue , please let me know the solution

+Prabhakar K A Polo has a slightly hard clutch compared to other cars. Use full clutch while engaging the gears... This problem is faced by most people who drive the VW Polo for the first few days... So you need not worry at all... You will get used to it easily... For starting the car, just switch off the ignition key fully & then start again... Yes, this also takes some time to get used...

I am planning to buy a Volkswagen vento comfortline and wanted an estimate on its servicing cost as compared to ciaz or Verna as this cost is a major factor in making the decision. +jaideep upadhyay Vento will cost an Average of 15000 per service. 90% of the time it will not exceed 15000 if you maintain it properly. Vento needs to be serviced once in 15000 km or one year whichever comes first...

+jaideep upadhyay You may have to pay a maximum of 5000 Ruppees per year extra on the service of Vento when compared to the competition. If you maintain it properly, service cost will go down even less. The service cost is more as the spare parts as expensive.

How is the ground clearance of polo .. does it hold good in our worst high speed breakers or potholes in road.. kindly advice .. does the ground clearance of 168mm is enough ??

When I Drive alone, it doesn't have any problem with speed breakers and pot holes. But when the Car is occupied with 4 or 5 people, we have to be extremely careful and go as slow as possible in speed breakers. Otherwise car will get a bad hit at the bottom.

+Mr Singh Most of the features shown in the video applies starting from the 2016 Highline & Allstar variants. 1. Reverse gear fog lamp illumination and rear wiper activation doesn't come in 2014 model Highline. It is available only starting from 2016 model Highline.

+Arin Arts yes. When sudden brake is applied above a speed of 80 km/h and if you continue to press the brake pedal, Hazard warning lights turn on automatically... Once you start moving, the lights switch off automatically

+Gokul V S Ground clearance is enough & it doesn't hit the speed bumps. But you have to be slightly careful while driving through big potholes. If you drive slowly in potholes, it would not be a problem.

+Narayan Raut 1. I immediately dismissed the idea of getting a Baleno as I have no patience to wait for 6 months to take delivery. 2. When we compare all the three cars, Polo was the best option for me. I liked the solid build quality, best in class interiors and the steering with most accurate Feedback in the VW Polo So, I have chosen it. All the three cars are very good cars. We have to see which car suits our needs and buy that one.

+GULFVISION JUBAIL the new Polo will definitely take minimum 11 months to release in India. It would be better car than the current generation. If you can wait for it, you can... If you want the car immediately, Highline plus is a good choice...
