Thanks . There is another difference . Normally globe valve has an arrow to indicate flow direction while gate valve is bidirectional

if we'll use gate valve as a control valve instead of globe valve then there will be a chattering problem.

We can say that gate valve is isolation valve on/off position But globe valve is throttling or regulating valve adjusted as per system requirements
