J10 no doubt more advanced over JF 17 thunder but JF 17 have more battle field experience or you can says that JF 17 have experience of wars, and it is more suitable for South Asian condition where it is still superseded to other fighter jets specifically in dogfighting.

Well… In the onset, like Turkyie’s acquisition of the HQ-9 only to find that Unc Sam says no no to them… Bangladesh, Lanka, and Iran in this case was tethering on whether to risk the threat coming from Unc Sam and decided to held off the purchases of the JF-17. Eqypt is now on a shopping spree while Argentina is a strong come back kid and will settle for it again and who knows who else is on the list after Azerbaijan’s purchase. After all, Bangladesh Lanka Myanmar and Egypt were all once operators of the J-7. It’s only natural that their next choice should lean towards the JF-17. .

It is my opinion that the Bangladesh Air force will be capable to protect Bangladesh Air, land, maritime territories with the Pakistan China built JF-17 fighter aircraft, the JF-17 block 3 will be better choice. In the future when Bangladesh Government will have sufficient fund hopefully the Government of Bangladesh will purchase Chinese made J10C or J10D. Bangladesh Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad, Long live Bangladesh China friendship.

. JF-17 a trainer: Nice try! But that title goes to the K/8, the FTC/2000, and the JL/15… The JF/17 1&2 is a medium weight in between that of an early series F-16 and F-18 which is why the Iranians are after it (Block-3) even though they have their own indigenous F-5 knockoffs to boot. The Block-3 is a 4.5 generation specimen of the J-10, F-14, Su-30 class which is why the Egyptians are passing up the French Rafale for cuz their Rafale is getting old and obsolete. J10 is more of a medium weight all roles plane, J17/fc1 is a light weight all roles plane. J10 can carry 6500kgs or 7000 kgs of weapons depend on range of engagment. J17 carry 4000kgs weapon loads. J10c and J17 block 3 using the same system of radars and weapons. J17 maybe more overall plane because they can carry anti ship missiles, not sure all J10 series can do that. J10 is more capable than j17 in range wise. but in dog fight and abush, they are the same.

. It can handle more than the Rafale. Rafale looks impressive but, in my eyes, it’s merely s beef up/upgraded version of the naval Etandard or F-1, brought to generation 3/3.5 status which is why the French are opting for a super Rafale to serve the French Air Forces needs. It’s from the PANAVA Tornado/Euro fighter Typoon era. All three are outdated/obsolete. JF is a new breed with long stretch of longevity going for it. .

Both are Chinese fighter jets, China exclusively do not use Jf17 anymore but use it for export to other countries . but with the geopolitical issue that a chinese jets gets , PLA decided to share the technology and build the half with partnership by pakistan. this give then a chance to export thunder without any geopolitical issue and benefit both countries.

'China' won't ever develop a radar for JF17 which is more powerful than radar of J10. That y a mini version of J10's radar was installed on JF17. Thus Pak was left with no option but to buy J10.
