Differences in the PRO RMK and ASSAULT, Which sled is better for you?

I had a pro rmk, QD belts always broke and drive shafts snap in half. Parting it out now. Picked up a assault rmk which is stronger in the areas the pro always broke.

Yeah the rmk models are definently for the mountain powder riding. I personally love my 2016 switchback assault 800 144" I'm an on of trail rider. I can go where the rmk can go but wont get there as easy or fast..

the assault is not as good in the powder as the pro, but it is far form bad in the deep pow. and the assault is an better allround sled than the pro. :-)

Not for myself I bought a 17 PRO Last Year. My brother rides the 12 Assault. The 12 PRO is my back up sled. I ride it at least twice a season to keep the fluids moving.

Jacob Naeyaert I can’t stand summits haha they have such a different steering feeling and they feel unnatural to stand and ride on.
