I love how near the ending the descriptions get more off the rails - "I don't know if I'm tripping out" but still being extremely accurate. good vid!

Great video. This is a hidden part of valorant which will be used by pros in the future for call outs as the game evolves

I liked the descriptions you put. Do you plan on doing another with all the other agents

Perhaps I’ll wait for them to make another batch of agents, that way it can be a full length video just like this one

how do we differentiate when there are different materials they can walk on?
@redguyraf9977
@redguyraf9977 Жыл бұрын
For the video I chose for the agents to walk on stone since I feel it’s the most common floor material. There are also other floor materials like wooden, dirt, grass, snow, hollow metal, dense metal, glass, and surely a lot more materials. For all of these materials you are still able to hear the special sounds that each agent make, but in my experience it’s a bit tougher to discern than regular stone floor (ie hollow metal floor material, where the agent-specific footstep sounds are masked by the loud and clunky metal). For tips on how to differentiate the steps if you aren’t sure, one is to look to see who is alive, and discern the footstep from there (example is if you hear heavy footsteps but there’s only a phoenix, jett, omen that are alive, we know that jett and omen have light footsteps, while phoenix has heavy steps. We can discern from process of elimination that we hear a phoenix, even if you are not sure for certain). That is more or less the best way to discern footsteps if you arent sure, a lot of it can also be from context, (you wont see a killjoy go into site before jett or smth) just play off of the information that you have and you should be alright. At the end of the day, being able to discern footsteps is one hell of a skill, but shouldnt take away from what you should actually be improving on lmao. i made the video just because i was bored and had time, and in the grand scheme of valorant, is a very petty topic to discuss about. Regardless, im very glad that you stumbled across my video, please lemme know if you have any tips or if theres anything you do to differentiate footsteps, always happy to learn and hear from the community. c:
