Just wanted to add to the Internal Audit route, a lot of your firms do want you to do a postgraduate. So for example, if you are at Tuks, you will graduate in Bcom Financial Sciences or Bcom General and then do your honours in Internal Audit. Other institutions have a postgraduate diploma in Internal Audit.

The job market is very dry in Internal Auditing. They actually prefer CAs to be internal Auditors in the job market. I dont know why

It would've been nice if the professional bodies had a similar arrangement like SAICA. Eg) IIA could give bursaries to students with the help of audit firms as they have internal audit graduate programs and give them access to vac work.

I do not know which one to choose between CIMA and SAICA💔😭I love Management Accounting a lot and would really love to go the CIMA route but I heard that it has 9 board exams 😭😭😂and I cannot stand that shame uxolo.

On the bright side, you can switch to SAICA from Cima if you're not happy so choosing either won't limit you as you can switch.

Iyhoo I want a SAIPA training contract ! What if my qualification is not a SAIPA accredited degree ,but its SAICA accredited?? I partly struggling to find articles since I dont have own transportation and licence and the large organization want someone with CTA 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hi Siyabulela, you can still do SAIPA training articles with a SAICA accredited degree. With SAIPA you just need to have graduated with a Bcom accounting /Bachelor of accounting degree.

After that you go to SAIPA and ask for Articles or Companies and explain that you want to do SAIPA articles? I really don’t know about Articles.

hi there, sorry this is a little late but if your course is SAICA accredited then 101% it's SAIPA accredited as well.
