Hardik has been advised from NCA after repeated injuries in long-term cricket to not put that much stress on his body, as it can be career threatening. Players like Ashish Nehra had such issues back in the day, that in the end kept them away from their team due to multiple and consecutive injuries. Even after these warnings, would you as an individual play long-term cricket just to prove to the audience that you are a "team-player", or be safe with your body, be an asset for the short format team of your country and play at your best for as much time as possible?

Ishan seems to follow Hardik's path. He doesn't want to play Tests and so as Ranji. He wants to focus on T20s and ODIs but Team Management wants him in Tests too. Iyer is KKR Captain. As a captain he can join pre-camp, even if he is not fully fit to play. Both Iyer and Ishan deserve BCCI contract, since they have performed well for India in last 12 months. The injured players and non performers should be in C Category regardless of their performance of beyond 1 year.

As per media reports, he had told about his decision of not playing test cricket to the then Team Management. Importantly when Team India needs fast bowling all-rounder like him. Selectors choose Shardul in his place but still unable to fill this gap on overseas tours.

Okay Akash Ji, you have tried your best to defend Hardik Pandya's case. I agree with you, but if any cricketer is not interested in playing test cricket, which is the most important format, then he doesn't deserve an A grade contract. He should be satisfied with B or C grade contract.

There was already an article about Shreyas: He reported of back issue as he could not bat for long session. BCCI released him. Shreyas already conveyed to MCA that he can't hold up for long sessions. NCA reported BCCI that he is fit to play. Shreyas was at KKR camp just to covert his 60 ball session to 120 ball session, so that he could buildup for batting long. Furious BCCI selectors didn't liked Shreyas appearing in KKR camp. Its too harsh on him. Never seen Shreyas miss Ranji games. He has been playing back to back series missed IPL for WC, played Aus then SA back to Ranji and then ENG series. I don't understand what BCCI wants to convey.

I think so Shreyas Iyer point is wrong.. if KKR is taking camp and he went there and not played any match what is the issue.. he is captain of KKR team, he may have gone to see teams preparation. .If BCCI dont want any player to go to any Franchise camp.. inform franchise not to keep any camp.. Playing 5 day Ranji Match as it was quarter final and going in camp for some hours is different thing altogether..it means if you are not playing dont practice also..

As reports suggest he was not able to bat long hours due to back strain. To build up for long hours he went to practice. Since there was already a camp why shouldn't a player be allowed to join. He may not be match fit and playing a Ranji game doesn't seem to be suitable for him at this point in time. Its a clear miscommunication from BCCI part and blatantly terminating the contract spreading a bad image of Shreyas in public. He is very dedicated to the game and never misses any Ranji game. Utter Rubbish by Aakash here, For Hardik and KL its been ages since they played any Ranji game

He always gets injured in or before the big events but he comes back miraculously and plays IPL every year , Iyer missed his IPL and went for the treatment even though he had the option to play the IPL or atleast the second half after proper recovery without the surgery but he wanted to be fit for the WC and whereas pandya played the whole IPL and got injured in the WC and he is in Grade A ....... This needs to be justified

Sirji two questions, pehla kya domestic ke is season se pehle wale seasons khela tha ? Dusra agar wo almost ek hi format khelta hai to usse A+ kyun ? Ashwin ki tarah A kyun nahi. Teesra ye bhai almost injuries prone rehta hai... Kyun hardik ko special preference di jaa rahi hai...I don't think so captaincy kuch matches mein hardik ko A+ ki category di jaani chahiye. Surya ne bhi kuch matches mein captaincy ki hai. Wo to B catagory mein hai. Kuch to hai hardik ko preference di jaa rahi hai BCCI ki taraf se. Jadeja ne CSK se contact Kiya wapis aane ke liye jadeja ko ek saal ke liye ban kar diya jata hai par hardik ko kuch nahi kaha jata hai jab usne Mumbai se contact Kiya aur Mumbai ke captain ban gye...

Sir, what is the meaning of break ?? Break means Break from international cricket. For may be few series. And the players want to spent time freely, it may vary from vacation,staying at home,doing party, or practice in net, But they are not playing any competitive tournament .

no Hardik is unique player the thing is different that he got injured in 2018 asia cup and gets out of tournament, i In 2021 t20 he was not fit to bowl and in 2024 wc he again got injured he never missed any ipl season because of fitness but missed every bilaterals and series ..

I completely agree about your pov about hardik in "TESTS" but many matches has he played in last probably 4-5 years? He just appears when there is any tournament. For that reason we have not been able to develop any replacement for him. Now Dube looked good against Afg but will he be in the interim squad? No! coz Mr Fragile Pandya is always there! Its a joke when you actually see in most of the big tournaments he has hardly played 2-3 matches and got injured and we dont have any replacement. Remember 2019 wc,2023 wc and asia cup?
