Different Shapes of Degradable Packing Materials Production

This video shows making different shapes of degradable packing materials (also called packing buffers or packing peanuts) with our twin-screw extruder. They are peanut-shaped, heart-shaped, star-shaped, and stick-shaped. During this period, many users are interested in making degradable packing materials. Our company does many experiments to meet the users’ requirements.
These products’ main raw materials are corn starch and PP (polypropylene, the cost is lower) or PLA (polylactic acid, the cost is higher). The core production technology is co-rotation twin-screw extrusion. The products’ volume weight is 7-9kg per cubic meter. They can be degraded to carbon dioxide and water in 3-6 months. They are environmental.
