it’s so crazy to read the different reactions that are evoked by this song. for me it’s always been very melancholic, almost like a yearning for a change in a failing relationship where the love somehow still persists. but for others it provides comfort and joy. so beautiful to see the vast range, love this MV!

It’s interesting how the video visualises the song as couples that have already been together before , for some reason when I listen to this song it gives me more the impression of someone you new you meet who you want to be able to give the things you never could before - because you weren’t ready to do that. This song is so beautiful yet crushing is to me. I listened to this song in the backseat of my ex boyfriends car with him. We sat there in silence and stared at each other while the song echoed in the background. I will forever cherish this song because that moment we shared felt so entirely still and time was passing by so slowly. i found this song on 2022 when my spotify was on shuffle (i had no premium), i was intrigued by the intro, it was soft, and it calmed my nerves somehow. years later, i forgot the title, and i had to search it because i wanted to listen to it again, my heart was searching for the beautiful production, the soft vibe and the sweet intoxicating vocals added to it, i was glad I found it again because this song really remained in my heart. the melody was stuck in my head, because, you know, this songs really really good. im glad spotify recommended me this masterpiece.
