@@BehavingBeardly ohhh I see. Well they seem pretty good to me ! Although OBS is being a pain with this script. I put the transitions in place, but one of them keeps not working and its annoying me.

@@BehavingBeardly yep checked all that. Its to do with the fade transition. I have set it at a certain transition time (6000ms), and it works the first time and then any subsequent times, its like it loses its memory of that time and does it instantly.

In OBS, is there a way to cross fade music from one scene to another? I created a scene WITH music, and a scene WITHOUT music, and I thought when I added in a fade it would nicely make the music fade off. But it was not the case, as the music just abruptly stopped. Is there a way to have the music slowly fade out at the push of a button?

OBS Studio having problems with the script. Whenever changing to another scene I have to wait almost a minute to switch to another, otherwise it’ll swap to the other scene without the stinger. Sometimes it’ll also use the previous scene’s stinger (ex. game > pause works fine, but from pause > game will sometimes override with the game > pause stinger)

I am just trying to find a way to do a simple transition from game 1 (marbles on stream) to game 2 (Stream Raiders) which I have currently in their own scenes and currently have to manually go from one to the other but ideally I'd like them both in the sources section so I can keep my overlays/cam on for both but literally go from one to the other. What's the simplest way for a totally non techie person like me to achieve this please?

I'd just have them on 2 different scenes with the same overlays etc and just use streamdeck/touchportal/keybind etc to switch scenes.....

I've seen so many streamers playing these 2 games and they just seem to have a single button they use to switch between one and the other and back again but I literally have no idea how they are doing that - and yes I've asked several of them but nobody has yet found the time to explain it simply. ah-hahaha! I had half my video set on the outro of the prior scene, and half set to play as I intro'd into the new one!!! The end result is the same, but this is soooo much easier to setup and manage - thanks!!

I use a different transition plug in to do something similar, and it has the same issue with confusing transitions at times. One thing i've found to fix that, if i open the plug in just to kind of let it load, it usually works correctly from there on out.

Hi Thanks very much for that. I've followed your steps and have setup custom transitions between different scenes (in the 'Connections' tab), but no matter what I try, it always uses whatever is set to 'Default' in the 'Transitions' tab. I downloaded the latest version (1.6.4) and tried on another PC, but I'm still facing the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Kevin

I use OBS and I can't get the file from gethub. I'll explain my problem. I just made a new transition clip and I basically want OBS to FADE to play the clip THEN fade into the scene I selected.

If your mean what I think you do (you want your stinger to fade in and out) then you would create that fade in something like premier pro and export it as a webm including alpha layer. It's been a long time since I made this video, the plug in may not exist for the new OBS
