Downloaded the 7 Free off-grid solar diagrams and it looks like a good base to start of . I have to adapt it to my needs and to the codes and parts in my country the Netherlands . Thanks 👍 .

Can you make video how to connect hybrid inverter to main grid?

Should be easy and written in the manual.

Really great overview! Generally efficiency and idle consumption should be taken into account. Often the manufacturerers are not very honest with the specs esp. on idle/stand-by consumption! Some hybrid inverters take energy from the grid when idle - which is not acceptable imho!
@cleversolarpower7 ай бұрын
Indeed, they are not very transparent about idle consumption. Which is a shame.

Can you use solar panel optimisers in offgrid system? I have 4kw panels feeding 24v into Victron 150/100 mppt, into AGM battery bank then into 3000w low frequency inverter. I have a mix of different panels and want to stop the lowest producing panel drag down the rest of array with it. Cheers

Excellent presentation. Could u kindly explain us with basic blok diagram of the internal circuit of Hybrid Inverter to understand how the PV panel, Batteries and grid share power to drive Inverter. All of them combined as a DC or AC current need to know from u. Thanks lot for yr valuable information about solar systems.

Hello, I want to buy a hybrid invert that I will use on grid and with batteries. I do not know which inverter to buy, that compensate the phases. That means that, if i use more energy from one phase than this particular phase has, it should take energy from another phase and not from the grid or battery. Which inverter can do this and how is the option called? Thank you very much for your response.
@cleversolarpower12 күн бұрын
The inverter doesn't have to compensate the phases. The energy company doesn't care if the phases are unbalanced.

@@cleversolarpower Hi and thank you for your replay. I will give you an example. If i produce 6kw of solar power this will be splint to the 3 phases, so L1 will have 2kw, L2 - 2kw and L3 - 2kw. But if i consume 4 kw on phase L2, on most 3 phase hybrid inverters, the extra energy that is needed (2kw) of phase L2 will be draw from the Grid and not from the other 2 phases L1 and L2. And the Power of L1 and L3 will be injected in the grid. Because the price difference of the injected energy and draw energy is very big (2x), I need a inverter that takes the electricity from the other available phases and not the grid, if one of the phases need more electricity than it produces and if the other 2 phases have sufficient electricity. Is something like this possible for a hybrid 3 phase inverter and if yes, how it this function called. Thank you in advance.

Can you advice me a good Hybrid inverter? I would like an (no grid) installation. Use solar panel during the day and batteries at night. An inverter who can charge and load the house in at the same time,stop the charge off the batteries and redirecte all the load to the house.

How can I get a Micro Inverter and a Hybrid inverter at the same time? Getting DC to AC to charge my batteries first and when they are charged, use energy form pannels directly
@cleversolarpower7 ай бұрын
They have to be used separately. Micro inverter attach to the panel and go to your AC system. Other solar panels can connect to the hybrid inverter directly (DC).

Is there an inverter that will charge or discharge a battery from and to the grid? I don't need a full hybrid inverter, I just need to control my battery's charge level.
@cleversolarpower4 ай бұрын
The victron multiplus will do that. Also called an inverter/charger.

I have an existing setup which includes a hybrid inverter and batteries. I want to increase capacity but the inverter model that I am using is no longer available in the market. Is it OK to mix different brand and/or models of hybrid inverters?
@cleversolarpower9 ай бұрын
You cannot combine the output of different off-grid inverters. They have to communicate with each other to synch their sine wave output. Another method is to have loads on the old inverter and separate loads on the new inverter.

Hi, I have a farm in an area with no electricity at all time. Which solar system is best for me ? I want a system which can be used immediately doing the day, but charges the batteries doing the day for night use!

I think a lot of the cheaper high frequency hybrid inverters need to be a bit clearer on their limits. The fact you can't just plug them into your house consumer and have to either bridge from the neutral to the earth or run an extra earth back to the consumer unit is beyond a lot of people
@cleversolarpower10 ай бұрын
Ground neutral bond is indeed difficult and should be viewed on a case by case basis.

What is the difference between HIGH FREQUENCY HYBRID INVERTER and LOW FREQUENCY HYBRID INVERTER
@cleversolarpower7 ай бұрын
High frequency = less surge power, cheaper / low frequency: higher surge power, more expensive
