They normally require 2 years experience before you can apply for a band 7 position x

Is it possible to be more than 1 type of midwife ? eg. safeguarding midwife and an antenatal midwife.

If you’re safeguarding specialties that’s will be your main role. You can work as an antenatal midwife as overtime for example as Bank (extra shifts). So you can’t have both roles as your main role x

Uncertified or unlicensed midwives! They are said to have full autonomy over there practice some states do offer licensing for lay midwives

Could be a good option for people who have difficulty passing a back ground screening where there’s a will there’s a way! If midwifery is your calling nothing and no one will hold you back
