I like these lessons on different ways of saying familiar phrases. My mom only speaks Bavarian German, and I have no one else to learn from.

I found this very interesting. While my family has a German background, I've never run across thank you. I know my dad's Brothers would speak to each other in German especially the older ones. So I did pick up a word here or there. The only thank you that I can remember however comes from my mom's side of the family which is Norwegian background. Velcommen, was used like you're welcome. I’ve been studying German/Dutch. I was listening to your intro. And, I understood what you said! I got way too excited!!! Also thank you! For what your doing. I have a German half and a American half of family. So, with you going over culture, language, just everything German! It makes me able to understand my other German half of my family.

Well I am glad you made a video on this! I didn’t even know what “you’re welcome” is in German. It’s been a question on my mind for a while now! I really love this series a lot! Also off topic but it’s funny to see Negan peeking out from behind you😂❤️

@@GetGermanized I had no idea you helped people learn German. I'm a 57 year old rocker from the States, who thinks it's still the 70's, lol. I have a facebook friend from Germany, who lives like 5 minutes from Basel, Switzerland. He's the one who got me into Rammstein. which also got me into learning German, lol. I'm subbed to like about 10 youtube channels that also teach German. It's been an amazing journey trying to learn the language. The words aren't much of a problem but getting them in the right order is almost next to impossible, lol

You should dramatize an scene using the words you want us to remember so we can remember them more easily! For example: you say "bittschön" and after that you simulate a conversation with yourself as if you were using it in your daily life! It would help a lot.
