For anyone wondering: you NEED to have Dran and Masergear in the ride deck to have a G zone, so you can't put the G units in other Dark States decks to bluff during mulligan even if you couldn't stride them.

@@jemtaylor3738 Because Masergear gives you the crest when you ride it over Chrono Dran, and the crest is what allows you to stride, so therefore, you need both Dran and Masergear as your G0 and G1 in your ride deck in order to have the g zone. Problem is, the crest locks you into riding Chronojet and no other grade 3, so playing the g zone means you MUST play Chronojet and can't try to bluff your opponent by going "oh, I have the g zone" and then throw Bruce or Baromagnes at their face. Won't work. You play the g zone, you're playing Chronojet, no if, and, or but.

It's so weird that they give you basically everything except sleeves, which is something they basically always do with these special sets. I also disagree with them not making the triggers foil, this set is insanely expensive (like 200 US dollars for us here) so not getting holo triggers or sleeves is a big bummer.

"Premium" content always tends to be like this. BSR's products always lacks in some stuff. Reason why the best product BSR ever made was the MLB deck. Also, 200 bucks for these few changes is like... Meh... 4 of each foil + 5 from the deckbox + 15 from the playmat + 1,50 from the toploaders +20 for the big chumgus display doesn't compensate this pricetag.

And if you don't own holo triggers at this point, then that's your own fault. They've printed the over trigger twice now, both in ORR rarity (that's foil). They've printed vanilla triggers multiple times, and gave them either H rarity or RRR rarity (depends if holo rare from the booster, or RRR from festival collection). And they're reprinting the effect triggers in foil rarity in set 7, and also have them all in SP rarity (or H rarity for the effect fronts), which you were already gonna replace the vanilla triggers with the effect triggers. So again, it doesn't matter that the triggers aren't foiled because you were just gonna replace all of them anyway. As for the sleeves, I have way too many sleeves to even count, so I don't need another set. Especially when everyone just double sleeves them anyway to protect said sleeves, and they NEVER give you the over sleeves in these special products to begin with, so I'm perfectly fine with not getting sleeves in this because if they're not gonna give over sleeves alongside the regular sleeves so I can protect the sleeves, then I rather not include sleeves at all. Plus, everything else you get in the premium set already makes up the near 200 USD price tag, and I already got my premium deckset pre-ordered and don't regret dropping that money. I can't wait for this to drop in English.

He's always been meant to represent the future, and sort of the prestige of the next generation. Out of curiosity in person how visible is the triple drive logo on Fate Rider? On video you can barely make it out and I thought Bushiroad misprinted for a second. As for the set itself those acrylic counters are what I've been desperately wanting to the point of making jank versions myself. Surprised they didn't go with a similar leather deck box like the MLB set though maybe the frame took up that budget lol.

@@Ayura0 Pretty sure Chronojet and Messiah are the only exceptions, given their status. At most, they would probably only do this kind of deckset three more times (one for Dragon Empire, one for Keter Sanctuary, and one for Stoicheia. Highly doubt they'd do one for Lyrical Monasterio).

I think while I hope is happens slowly and applying past lessons learned, I would love to see G zones introduced slowly to overdress. I think it makes the most sense and nation based strides seem very interesting!

I disagree as then you must run strides to win, and that's exactly how G snowballed into what became premium and the absolute chaos it introduced. Having chronojet as of right now being able to stride as his gimmick is awesome because he has his crest, and if we start doing that to all 6 nations then everybody won't be playing regular units, just strides because they're just so much better than persona. Although cool idea, likely not gonna happen

What I'd like to see happen is some decks get other mechanics back instead but not end up with every deck having every mechanic. Spread them out so they're actually unique and balanced. I'd love Maelstrom to be able to get an accel marker (although I'd either give him Accel 1 or a new 'D-Accel' that doesn't give power nor draw like 2 does). Or hard cap how many markers it could get. Let D Minerva have Divine Gauge aswell for example.
