Solemn vanguard what do you think about chaos,victor,luard in the meta right now? I play luard it got much more aggressive but there's some early draws and dragabyss multi attacking turn where some of my opponents screw their hands until they have no card In hand and can't stride since they didn't drew into a SF or G3 lol

Dominate gives 0 fucks about control. ZTB can play around control quite well. Anything that can play Ange gives 0 fucks about Chaos, etc...

it doesnt matter if its good or not, what matters to me is I enjoy playing with them, I learned their combos, I have fun playing with them and they are enjoyable to me. I play my prisms almost on autodrive cause I know and remember every skill they have which takes me a while to get used to a sub clan like that, but perhaps some day I will also give harmony a try although it will take me a while to get used to them I will continue enjoying my prisms

*spoiler* meta in vanguard most of the time don't really exist because someone can *coff coff* win something like a world Championship with a blaster deck or something like that *coff coff* , or a spring fest with bloom, or a Big tournament with messiah, or make a top with thavas in a world championship (this last one haven't happened lol rip thavas who'll "surely top at the wc")

It's not because some dark horse can win, that meta doesn't exist. There's still a clear majority of tournaments being totally dominated by a specific set of decks.

Meta decks are the ones who wins, i know that meta is a thing but most of the time it's wrong or doesn't apply. Like the gbt14 meta, it was practically only ztb and dominate, chaos counter both of them but it wasn't t1 because it wasn't played enough 🤷 Btw when i say "it doesn't apply" i talk about the mini-meta for locals and those big tournaments where 3 out of 8 decks in top 8 aren't really tq

Cool video. 'Strongest Decks' is indeed the right caption. The meta may vary but Ange & ZTB are indeed strong builds. In my opinion, they are now meta not because they are broken and topping left & right, they are meta because of their build consistencies and synergy. In my area, Ange is not meta but ZTB was.

Chaos has kinda fallen off. Overlord has been gone for quite a while. Victor can still top here n there, but Ange, etc.. are just superior.

People associate chaos as the gatekeeper of the meta. If you can't beat it, you can't be meta. Though rarely anyone really plays chaos so the above statement kinda doesn't matter anymore. Luard changed for the worse in gbt14. He got way more aggressive, which is fine, but he draws so much less and in a format where RInne is a major thing, it doesn't work out well. Victor is one of those decks that, given the right set up, can steal games. It isn't as potent anymore as it was in star gate. Ange Harmony can typically draw enough to outlast Victor turns and can be aggressive enough to wipe out their hand. Coral the same, but even worse for Victor since Coral is super Aggressive. Leaving Victor with very few cards in hand to work with.

You mentioned chouchou You didn't say it was the best.... disappointing Chouchou is basically grade 2 rush which is stronger than even battle sisters and even has an incredible amount of card draw whilst basically having a gearnext (G4 Tirua) I may be slightly biast I like mermaid loli

Only difference is that it doesn't xD ZTB's 10k ride is great. Add to that that ZTB can build field without resources and then plusses of that even more, so playing the early game doesn't bother them much. Beyond that, virtually no rush deck is strong enough right now to even compete at these levels.

So meta is just whts easy to play. I play brave and destroyed all these decks with good players piloting them, my brother plays bloom and rarely loses to these. In vanguard now everyone has a chance it comes down to the player and luck factor of the game. A lot of these "meta decks" top because an overwhelming number of people play them in tournaments so the odds of it topping is pretty high but it's not the end all beat all. My advice find something you like, master it, and have fun playing the game.

It's really nice that you mentioned brave since its the deck I build and it is so rare to see an altmile topping like ZTB or Nociel Gyze, Nubatama and so on. I would like to know more about how to counter these busted meta decks. Most of them generate solid hands and Gyze itself its a 30k base plus a hand with more than 9 cards including pgs and heals. What would you do in those kind of situations?
