Thanks for your explanations, tips and even just sharing your thought processes on their plays! What a call on the Eva appearing during the drive check LOL. I've been playing casually since G but I do want to be good at the game and these types of videos definitely help a lot in understanding the reasoning behind certain plays and how meta decks function. Loved it

Doesn't help that some of those decks are nerfed before release, the support cards being soo insanely anime situational to use IRL and that some of the best support cards work far better in other archetypes than in the archetype it was created for( MX saber invoker being a prime example). A good portion of the anime decks become support engines as opposed to standalone decks. (Lunalights, gravekeepers, Blackwings initially, destiny hero and vision hero, Goki, speedroids, original phantom knights on release, codebreaker, atlantean, volcanics, fortune ladies) Gets even worse when konami releases new archetypes in nearly every pack and shafts others unless they're waifus,huge money makers, and popular.

Those judges constantly putting those counters on everything would drive me crazy. Thanks for the video. I recently got back into the game after leaving at the end of G. These videos really help me learn.

I pulled 2 of the G1 promos during last locals, one normal and one foil. I'm so glad I kept my Eva deck. The compression is insane with searching for orders and calling Obscudeid.

Thanks for the teachings and video DF. I just wish that eva promo could've been placed on screen just to read while the match was taking place. The constant shuffling was more of a distraction than anything else. At what point in the game does an eva player choose to stop shuffling? When using eva's skill to call obsec should the player check hand 1st or deck 1st? What exactly is the best compression point and single timing to use secondel? I genuinely got the impression that it should be done once deck is extremely low

We don’t have an English scan for it yet so I felt like putting the JP one wouldn’t achieve much, sorry 😭 To answer your question: 1) Don’t shuffle after searching for PIP Eva as you immediately search for order, other than that you have to shuffle every time since all other effects look at Top X cards of deck 2) You can go into deck immediately and choose to whiff the search, but if you’re being time conscious and know the call target you want is already all out of deck you can skip that step just to save time 3) Generally when all Evas are out, but sometimes you need the booster so make sure after you put back the last Eva it’s on a turn you won’t search deck to not shuffle her up - usually I like to only call Secondel on the turn I’ll search that same Eva out though

I wish they'd just let the players cook as opposed to making retroactive ruling/mechanic changes like "no dragveda or shoji rideling in shiranui".

I haven’t played the actual divinez series yet bc there is no shop near me. My experience with the d-format is entirely from dear days, so I’m a little confused. I thought we can’t stride without the stride crest and we can only have one crest. Is that not the case?

The starter video was alright for just showing how the basics go… but there seems to be so much it doesn’t explain. Most of the knowledge that I’ve acquired of the game has come from watching other people play on KZbin, but there’s so many terms and stuff that I really don’t understand.
