Michael quick question would appreciate the reply. So I have a question which is giving me bunch of first order differential equations and its asking me to plot them but theres no initial condition given for any of them. Do I just assume an initial condition of 0,0 then choose my x,y point and produce the slop field for each of them?

Whenever you integrate, you end up with a constant of integration which is not known. You can plot solutions with different constants of integration and you'll end up with similar curves all offset by a fixed constant amount.

We are not trying to depict a physical system. This is simply a visual (graphical) representation of a differential equation.
