Lots of the elements in the music video is of Chinese origin Many people said that many of them never existed in Korean culture, and honestly I’m too lazy to fact check it, but after briefly searching, seems like many of the elements really didn’t exist in Korean culture. but one thing I did actually try to research more about was the Chinese style drawing of auspicious clouds. And literally i could not find any evidence at all of it being in Korean culture. All it basically talked about was it being from Chinese culture, and it also got to Japan culture because China influenced Japan. Nothing mentioned a word about Korea. Funny thing is they put it in almost every scene of the music video and almost every live show (I went on the most legit English website I could find)

Heya deserves SOTY they have big competition but this song is not only catchy and the raps are crazy the costumes the visuals the instrumental but it perfectly fits korean culture not to mention ives accendio mv had such great storyline, this album had a lot of great raps, and the editors slayed as well. To finish this of the dance is very flowy, addictive and aesthetic.

When you explained it I can see why you hear "No diggity" and kind of expect the fourth "heya" in line. It doesn't bother me to be honest, and I think that is because they sing the chorus using different intonation (and because there are only 3 heyas), so my mind doesn't make the connection. If the intonation was more like "No diggity" then I feel like it would bother me too. Also the fact that they all sing the chorus helps because the choir aspect gives, again, different vibe than the sampled song. Also some fun fact: heya (태양) means 'sun', which is incorporated in their choreo, as they 'eat' the sun :)

If summarising it shortly: "The brother and sister prayed to the sky and climbed up on the iron rope sent down from the sky, then became the Sun and the Moon. The tiger follows the brother and sister and ascends to the sky on a rotten rope, but the rope breaks and it falls onto a sorghum stalk to his death."
