thank you! I am working on an architecture build and needed to do a scale model. This was a great video, to show the flexibility between the two!

Thank you a lot from France. You helped me to choose between 1mm and 2mm. I didn't know about the flexibility about those acrylic glasses, do they bend a lot? Now I have got my answer. :)

Which one is better 1mm or 1.5mm or 2mm? Which is long lasting? Which looks good in the kitchen? Please mention disadvantages. I will appreciate your quick response.

To be honest I've only worked with 1mm and 2mm. To me 1mm looks better for invitations but if you are going to use it in the kitchen I believe 2mm will be better. 1mm is way more flexible than 2mm acrylic.

I worked for decades in acrylic manufacturing, specifically making retail displays. I often used scrap over the years to make household containers, and kitchen holders. Not sure the use you are needing, but any kind of weight held, I would look for a thicker, maybe 1/4". For best appeal, will need to flame polish the edges. However that can be tricky, as it will warp and distort think acrylic, while thicker acrylic will haze and become cloudy if not done correctly. Many may not know, but there are tons of plastic places around locally that would sell scrap pieces for pennies compared to what you'd spend buying them retail. They'd likely be happier too, since they only get about 50c per lb from recycling their excess cut offs and miscuts. I can't tell you how many times we would just toss 100's of blanks the size that are shown in this video.
