Very good video. Something you touched on that learnt from my first manager was that you should always know what you want to get out of a job / company and to work towards that. When it's no longer serving you, you should leave.

Hello, im a new subscriber, i really love your content! If you dont mind, I have a request. What I would really love to see is if you can do a UX critique for us of a seemingly beautiful website but really there are UX mistakes that are not noticeable. I’ve taken some online classes about ux and one tip you can add your portfolio is to critique an existing company website and find areas you can fix. However the examples they show were pretty obvious and bad design to begin with. I’m really interested in seeing a less obvious version where people already enjoy the experience but really it can be more elevated. I hope you get to read this. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge :)

Hey, interesting request. Why don't you help me by picking a website you think looks good but needs to be improved on? I'll do the rest 🙂

The first 25 seconds describe how I've felt in every UX project, at one point or another during the process. Btw, I would love to know which UX or design communities you recommend. I use to be on UX Mastery's forum, but it's not very active anymore. Thanks!

it's natural to go through it, but as long as you know what you're after and make best out of it you'll always come out a better designer. As for the community, I'm not sure - I tend to gravitate to in-person meetups and live events (precovid19), absolutely hate webinars and not a big fans of open ended forums/slack boards

@@vaexperience I agree. Not many events down here in Cornwall though, Covid19 or not xD
