In the equation d = L/n, both d and L are to be measured in metres. So that means having 600 lines per mm would redirect us to this form: d = (1/600) x 10^-3. This 10^-3 is added to convert the distance in mm to m. So this would mean the final answer of grating spacing would be 1.6667x10^-6. Well made video but the calculation is misleading so hopefully this comment helps people who were as confused as I was
