This combination is such an amazing surprise: Persian instrument (Setar) + Malian instrument (Kora). As a Persian I must say I think these two instruments need to be paired more often.

This group, which embraces other musicians from time to time, produces some of the finest virtuoso performances in our era. Their cultural awareness and mastery of different strands of musical heritage is huge. I dream of finding a way to hear them live. Meanwhile, they sustain me daily through Spotify as I work, cook, read, meditate.
