You guys promoted Iranian classical music to a different level. Nobody thought with those classical music instruments a talented musician can create such an amazing music. I am not a music expert but I studied about Silk road Eastern Hellenism culture of central Asia, Afghanistan and Khorasan before Islamic era. This music in Islamic time had to be used to glorify Islam and Islamic figures in order to survive. No wonder it was so boring with religious lyrics along with it. Remaining of Eastern Hellenistic culture music survived in Taybad and Torbat e Jam province. I believe the new generation musician like Kiya Tabassian are reviving the whole capacity of Eastern Hellenistic music to it's full extend. Thank you Kiya and Pooria. Great work!
@afzalrohillazkhan77144 жыл бұрын
This isn't Hellenistic at all. Tanbour is originally Mesopotamian and highly Persian in it's style. There has been more to Central asia and middle east than solely Hellenism. Hellenism is not even a player here tbh.
@saeedmodanlou18744 жыл бұрын
@@afzalrohillazkhan7714 Tanboor originally is anUyqoor music instrument. Danbar in Turkish language means Mulberry wood. But I'm not talking about the music instrument. I'm talking about the music itself. Even the great book of Shahnameh Is under direct influence of Greek tragic theater.
@afzalrohillazkhan77144 жыл бұрын
Are you kidding me right now? Shahnameh has nothing to do with Greek theater. This is nuts! XD Now call Magians under influence of Greek philosophers will ya. 😂 Absurd. Have really studied history yourself?
@saeedmodanlou18744 жыл бұрын
@@afzalrohillazkhan7714 Yes Mr. Afzal. I studied the history of Iranian plateau and Central Asia before Islam. The main stories of Shahnameh like the epic battle of Rostam and Esfandiar, Battle of Rostam and Sohrab or the fight between Gord Afarid and Sohrab are about conflict between a group of mixed migrating Scythian and western Asian Hunic tribe called " Pahlava" and "Suran" that migrated from Upper Oxus river to Helmand valley that later on called "Sistan = Place of Scythian" and the people that called "Aryan = Iranian" that were presiding in north Bactra ( Balkh), Samangan, area. Eastern mixed Scythian with their believe that called " Aiin e Pahlavani" had Hellenistic culture. They are vigorously resisting Aryan racism that being imposed upon them. They migrated to the south west of Afghanistan and south east of Iran about 200 B.C.E. "Greco -Scythian Government which was established around 250 B.C.E. started the trade with Han dynasty of China. Rostam is a torch carrier of Pahlavn's resistance against Aryan racism that was being imposed upon them by Zoroastrianism, shapes up the main epic stories in the great book of Shahnameh.
@saeedmodanlou18743 жыл бұрын
@@afzalrohillazkhan7714 That's your opinion. But history says other wise. Why don't you go check that " Danbar or Tanbur" is an Asian ( Turkish) word which means: "Mulberry wood"
