If you ever get the chance: Hire an excavator! It’s not expensive and a lot of fun. The first time I tried I had no idea that I liked this kind of things. I know it’s possible to try one if you ask politely. They usually understand. - If they are nice and normal people. (I once read about a girl who was working with moving snow with an excavator! That would be a dream job for me. Both snow and an excavator!😁)

You could easily get a job in the mines of Western Australia . It's mainly a fly in , fly out roster , one month on site , two weeks at home . $150 - 180 k a year Australia $ . The mine companies prefer women to operate the machinery because they tend to be more cautious and don't abuse the excavators and haul packs .

@@Modelo646from what I remember many hydraulic systems could be replaced with electric actuators, kinda like really fast auger screws. Going off the top of my head, SpaceX uses this on their newest engines for gimbal. Keep in mind these engines put out so much power that a 33 cluster of them makes a 120m rocket go from ground level to edge of space in 3 minutes. However I am still positive hydraulics are not going away on machines like these, less parts that can break is a pro, not a con

The transmission of Komatsu bulldozers is bad. We never will use this company again. Owner of Bauxite Ore mines in Eastern India. The temperatures our machines and teams face here are 46C-52C with 75% humidity and direct Sun. Dust, mud and dirt daily. Nearest repair shop is 600kms away. What the manufacturer recommends is very different from what the user experiences. Here, machines last half of what is intended.
