Yeah, I have noticed he is getting a little less camera shy. He has moved from only distance shots to some midrange and the rare close shot. DP is getting him properly trained, LOL. I hate being in front of a camera myself. Very camera shy, so I understand not wanting to be videoed. It makes video chatting with family a little hard. I can do it I just don't like it.

Hey DP, do ole' Jerry a favor : spend a few hundred $ in plexiglass, a few bolts and a door handle and spend a morning in the shop making a cab for the 850. That'll make for an awesome video and it'll keep ole Jerry from getting a cold ! ;-)

Don't need a rock bucket when you have Jerry and a dozer. I remember back in the 60's and 70's (before excavators were a widespread thing), dozers where commonly used for basements and swimming pools and such. Much faster than a backhoe, which in those days would have been the other main choice. I was lucky to have been around when old-school operators were there to learn from.

Cutting grade to within a 1/4" with a dozer that's intended for clearing huge tracts of land and digging lakes...boys that's a dozer operator right there. You can't do that by eye it's done by the feel of the machine and years of seat time.

@DirtPerfect3 жыл бұрын
Good ? And both it good machines and have their place cover that in some upcoming videos thanks
@evergreen78893 жыл бұрын
@@DirtPerfect when we had our company we had a 160 hauled on a tag trailer. machine as decent. Theres sometimes we d rather have a 135 or 120 size machine other times we needed a 220 plus size. I think if your doing houseline construction, some clearing, and maybe some small site work a 120 to 160 size machine is good but if you get into bigger site development or clearing the bigger machines are worth it. but then again the hauling cost and permits make it a hassle in todays market a lot of guys are getting to 12 to 16 18 ton machines. and there holding value iron in that size range seems to hold value vs the 200 plus sizes. dozers we found a d5 to be perfect size our d3 was little small for some stuff and always had a backhoe loader. never bought a mini.. been thinking of getting back into it. but idk its tough market in the northeast. love the videos though.
