Love these videos Marlow, this was 🔥. Dumb question for you, I pick up records occasionally from a local store or on ebay but I feel like I swing and miss a lot. What is your process when selecting records? Any tips?

Well same as you I miss a lot as well. I try to stay searching on KZbin for artists so when I am digging I know what to expect from a certain artist. Sometimes I google the album on the spot to see if it has any fire. I just like to collect records so I don't mind.

I found by checking the records I already love and seeing who’s playing on the album and who produced it. I’ll sit and KZbin the album in the store and quickly give a track or two a listen. Take your time and always hit the dollar bin. Don’t sleep on the ones you think look corny either.

Great video! How did you add tail to that sample? Did you straight cut and/or stretched the wave file or did you use an effect or something? I am working with Maschine and just always asked my self how to add more tail to a sample and increase its length so to say. Cheers 🥂

The mpc now has a tail function that allows you to extend the end of the sample.
