Thank you for your comment, I’ve been working a lot on the MPC Live II since this 500 broke on me but I’m going to buy another one soon to make more videos because it seems that people enjoy these.

Lots of valuable information man! I was just struggling with how to make sequences longer and double everything within the sequence. Thank you for your videos!

Glad you found this video helpful! I found doubling sequences to be tricky at first because I was unsure how to do it, but it's actually pretty straightforward once you get it! Keep making beats 🌌

Thanks for the video. Sometimes after I sample a loop and assign it to a pad it either sounds super low or the tempo is super slow. What tips do you have to avoid that?The 500 Sometimes seems too complicated and I just resort back to my zoom sample trek ,Especially in the cooking phase. Thank you

Thanks for this video man, i want to buy this mpc, but i need a tutorial from 0, do you know where i can learn to use this mpc?

No problem man, my unit is broken so I haven’t made any new videos about it but I might be interested in getting another one just for the videos. I think there may be on KZbin by sample kings.

nice video bro, let me ask you, what do you think about the mpc stuff pads, i saw that you got on your mpc 500, is it the fat ones? the Sensitive Thick Fat Pad Set? how do you feel about the diference between the standard ones and those? do you like it? the bounce when you hit the pad, or the sensibility its better than the stock ones?? thanks bro
@phillindablank2 жыл бұрын
The fat pads make such a difference when it comes to the mpc 500. I highly recommend them because it makes it a lot easier to just finger drum and they are a lot less stiff. They are easy to install as well so it’s a no brainer. There is a big difference performance wise, so if you got the cash I do recommend it.

Greetings beep :D I´m back on this video (appreciating your work). Have you ever used the sample layers on single track. There is this layering function on the 500 that I cant wrap my head around.
@phillindablank3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yeah I have used the layering function to make your kicks and snares sound punchier, but I have yet to try out all of its features. I think i will explore it in a video!

is there quantization on the mpc 500? if yes, how is it activated?
@phillindablank Жыл бұрын
Yes of course! Quantization is applied by going into the TC settings. According to the ratios you can apply it to 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 and Triplet timing I believe. You can dive deeper in the quantize settings for specific changes and swing settings.
