Those stones are awesome! Your mom is truly blessed for having as son like you. There aren't many sons that would bother taking those stones home to their mom. Especially having to haul them uphill to the truck. Those Pepsi bottles were nice. Squirrel Man was so cute hiding his pecan. 💖💯

Yea. I think those are better than bottles. I will try and get all of them. Looks to be like 25 more. I may try and get enough to build a small wall in my moms yard

Yeah. That rake is working out great! I used that one I got that was an Ames Eagle today on the river. it is a little lesser quality but works good too. Good for the price. I found ancient stuff with it...so --worth it

find me some old potato chip bags in this newer layer - that Pepsi sure is clean - don't overlook can's that look really rusty at first blush - some of them clean up excellent when soaked - there aren't a lot of newer dumps near me.....I like all ages of dumps...

Yea. I think those are honestly some of the best I have run across on video. The size....the chisel marks on them. I will have to go back there and just dig all of them. I think there is enough to build a nice wall or something .....I cant believe people dump stuff like that.

Wow you hit the jackpot today! Nice! One day in the future can you share with me on how you get your bottles and finds so clean? ❤
@rockscousteau20 күн бұрын
Well those acl bottles are easy to clean always usually. Those bottles were from like 1968....and in plastic bags underground. So they were better than just being in the dirt. I will go try and dig more of them. I can give those all to that guy at the car lot There are a bunch more stones there. I am going to dig thrm all out

Have you ever look for old maps of houses to look for the outhouse to dig?
@OldManMuskrat21 күн бұрын
My property is covered with old hand cut stones. Some are 400 lb sandstone blocks with chisel marks on them. A few are rejects from the building of my old county court house in the 1860s. my dad and I both have life long rock addictions so we drag in every big rock we can get in the car or truck. I've hauled 300 pound rocks in my passenger seat in the seat belt. Anything to get them home.
@rockscousteau20 күн бұрын
I do the same thing. I have seen piles of these around. And they were for sale. Guys with excavators and that dig foundations and stuff like that for people. They are keeping these in stock. The nice ones that are like that big one I showed I took off the river. That is most likely a several hundred dollar stone if you have the Sandblaster thing that will let you engrave house numbers into it,. I think a lot of them are being made into those now. I have seen them with peoples Last Name on them and Est 1970 when they got married or moved into the home. That is where the BIG money is.

Think about this. How nice would ones of this size look with a hole drilled in them with a masonry bit....and a wooden flag pole inserted into it. People will buy these for sure. The only bad thing. The majority of them are like tri[le this size and are hard to handle. If you can get them up the hill to the truck or car. and they are nicely chiseled and have a good form.....they are worth money and always will be
@rockscousteau20 күн бұрын
that big nice one I showed at my moms....about killed me getting it home. But it was worth it. Id say that one is worth $60.00.
@rockscousteau20 күн бұрын
The BIG money in the stones is finding like 100 of them in a place. Hauling them all back to one placewwhere they can be loaded and put them for sale. It is BIG MONEY if the stones are nice,

How do you get all the stains out of those bottles?
@rockscousteau20 күн бұрын
Oh it i s easy. Just wire brushes....and unbent coat hangers and scouring pad. Most bottles clean up easily. You have to reach in them with the wire though and use a little piece of scour pad on the tip to scub the insides usually. But it is easy

How do you find stuff, do you just randomly go and dig stuff up, or do you get permission? Do you have to get permission to dig for Native American artifacts at the river, or do you just pick a spot and dig?
@rockscousteau5 күн бұрын
Yea....These people that own this land live by my mother. So I asked him. It just depends on the locations. Some places you dont have to ask...some you do.
