What beautiful Amos points, Rocks. Brushed Creek chert must have been very special to them, and it makes for gorgeous points. Awesome finds!❤

I just dug the Big Sandy made of Crooksville a little bit ago. They are always around those Amos points.

My brother found a point with little holes in it like the one in the video, now I realize that it’s fire popping! Thank you for the information you share during your videos, I really enjoy watching them!

Yes it was! I sifted another translucent point right by it about an hour ago..along with countless other artifacts

That’s the biggest piece of hematite I’ve ever seen anyone find. That’s pretty cool !
@rockscousteau7 сағат бұрын
Oh man....There are much bigger pieces in some of the creeks around here. I know where there are pieces the size of a watermelon

Never realized a barge would get that close to the bank. Surprised they don’t get stuck ! The material around those spots look good !

Yea....they have [powerful engines. That thing backed out of there in seconds while I was there...and pushed tons of dirt everywhere underwater. And I am sifting the craters it uncovered.
@bouncerslabrealnature91437 сағат бұрын
Ummm 🤔.... I'm not convinced. 😎 It's good that others are interested in digging treasure but the spots are literally disappearing faster than pizza at a Jenny Craig resistance party.

This is the easiest video to get. Dump digging for bottles and marbles. Any town I go to up and down the Ohio Valley....so many dumps there is no chance you could ever dig them in an entire lifetime. Get off the couch dude. Gety off the youtube comments. I get paid for them. You do not

it lightened up big time overnight. I think it is Brush creek Chert. I will be able to do another video on this piece. I have an enotch made of the same stuff

HI Rocks, great vid as always. Question, did they ever make arrow heads with hematite ? if so have you found any that perhaps you could show, as that would have to be a mighty arrow if they did. Cheers
@rockscousteau9 сағат бұрын
I have a few made of it. some of the lower quality hematite can be chipped . I have never found a ground hematite arrowhead nor seen one. You would think they would have done that//...ground down some points of it.

I just looked at it. Went down maybe 2 inches. But at least it is going down a little. I may go for a little while to that spot today and another spot that has bird points. Maybe hit that spot I found that last tiny bird point

You have some well loved animals Rocks. They're lucky to have you. I can imagine Squirrel Man is jealous of the little guy. That yellow cat eye that glows was my favorite. I love the old clay marbles and the others you found were nice. Those ACL bottles were mint. 💖💯

Can you show how that point was made from a Clovis or big sandy? Not sure that makes any sense. I get reusing points that were found but I don't see what you're talking about.
@rockscousteau9 сағат бұрын
I didnt say that. I said the base is ground "Like" a big sandy or a clovis. "Heavily Ground".is what that means. I am sure it is like I am talking Chinese sometimes.

Love that Amos knife! Man, I can't believe the amount of artifacts you find in a single trip. Your collection is amazing!

Think if I would stay 8 hours. And think about if I would just do this all day. I could be putting on 3 or 4 videos a day. Only bad thing. A bunch of people got jealous...started buying tons of views.....and TANKED the revenue for everyone. That is what happened. Thank God i can go to the dump and earn GOOD MONEY.
@rockscousteau9 сағат бұрын
I will have to stop doing this. Go dig in the dump for a week...so i can pay my bills. Because of other channels......BUYING VIEWS. Think about that............if you are watching. All because of a HANDFUL of absolute "Tools".............who ALL.............Need the TASTE SLAPPED OUT OF THEIR MOUTH

Interesting how they made a point on the tool by knapping on opposite sides. Amos multi tool? I'd say your best points have come from that spot. The material they were using is outstanding. Looking forward to see what else you'll find.
