To all the lovely people who are wishing my toe a speedy recovery, I say thanks. After three weeks, the little pinky is back to normal. Walking barefoot does have some disadvantages, but the positive side of the coin is that being grounded 24/7 means that you heal very fast. My toe is healed totally.
@car6120
@car6120 3 жыл бұрын
wait till you put that maddox thru your foot. see how much being grounded helps you then. I heard if you lie naked on the ground you'll be so grounded you can cure COVID, get rid of all those negative electrons. Honestly does no one consider Science anymore ?
@matthewfarrell317
@matthewfarrell317 3 жыл бұрын
@@car6120 As much as I hate being barefoot, autism. The fact there is mounting scientific evidence that there is an interaction with the mass of nerves in the foot (one of the highest concentrations) and the ground is pretty interesting. Maybe you should consider science doesn't care about your ignorant beliefs, and questions everything and nothing is off the table.
@TheWeedyGarden
@TheWeedyGarden 3 жыл бұрын
@@car6120 If I did put the mattock through my foot, then I believe that the healing would be faster, and much less inflamation if I kept my shoes off or was somehow otherwise certain my body was grounded. If you do just a little research you can find lots of published journals on the bennefits of grounding. Might want to look into that before making assumptions about something you have not researched yourself. I learnt this at the Royal Copenhagen Hospital University from a lecture by a cell biologist more than ten years ago🦶🏻
@car6120
@car6120 3 жыл бұрын
I have, there’s very small limited research all of which relies on subjective measures or inflammation readings which are inconclusive. All of which could likely be explained by placebo. You doing light labour (exercise) being in fresh country air in a green space doing meaningful work in the sun, with little stress and eating fresh fruit and veg I’d say would explain your claims of quick healing a great deal more than u walking around barefoot.

@@car6120 Fair enough, but I am myself curious to find out. That is why the subject is on TWG table. Trust me sir, there are no fairies in my garden, (not that I can sense at least), so I’m not looking to prove anything except through curiosity we make discoveries

I live in a suburban house in Cape Town, South Africa where we almost ran out of water 2 years ago. I am digging a small swale in my front garden to feed the small trees that I planted this year so I still have to water them now. Then comes the back yard swale to get water into the soil as I am planning more trees there. I also dug up the really tough grass in one section to start a veggie garden. Due to a lack of resources I have covered the veggie patch with cardboard, cut holes, inserted grow tubes (made from soda bottles cut into tubes) and planting inside the grow tubes. I only water inside the grow tubes and this suppresses weeds and uses a lot less water as I use a soda bottle with a hole in the lid to water, takes time, but it's worth it for organic veggies.
