Yeah it was a pain too because it took 2 days to edit in the music too. I uploaded the original edit but youtube hit me with 32 copyright strikes based on the background music. The system sucks for that, but I did not want to abandon this dig, still kind of fun to watch.

New York must be an amazing place to hunt for stuff! I've never been, but I like to collect New York novels between the two World Wars, especially with the city skyline on the dust jacket. New York City images on comic book covers would be a cool collecting area too. Thanks for the video.

Please check to see if you have, The American, by Mark Verheiden. It’s a short-lived black and white indie but what a story! Mark Verheiden went on to write some major Hollywood movies.

I didnt know that you were into Jazz Music as its actually similar to some of the Music that Robert Crumb himself often listened to Within his own boigraphical Films as I seem to still remember and often do myself occassionally.

Gotham used to be a good place to get comics but not anymore. Also hate their what not they do not go through the condition of books. Use other what not sellers like bunky brothers or even the newer sellers. You can't even negotiate on price of wall books in there. Support local lcs instead gotham thrift do not recommend any it's just a waist of time

I find their dollar bins to be fantastic, I guess it all depends on what you are shopping for.

@pop-comics I used to love going through the dollar bins cause it used to actually have good stuff even after they started getting greedy and pulling out everything more then 5 bucks but now it's just junk that is just not worth my time I just stick to the bins at my lcs and qcp

I am guessing you are mostly after Marvel and DC stuff? I can see that not so much of that with value in the bins. For me I collect a ton of indi books and I have been finding a ton of value in their Dollar bins. I guess its all about what you are into. The mainstream stuff also has way more people picking it out so it goes quick. Doubt I would find an Amazing Spider Man or Uncanny X-men book in their etc.

@pop-comics you used to be able to find decent marvel and dc in there but not anymore cause they save it for their whatnot show which is awful. I also do collect indie but the indie they have in there is all just not what I'm into and just a waste of time for me
