Thank you for the video and hope you had a great time. This was a solid show - our vendors are top of the line and included many of the big names you see at the mega conventions and also vendors you won’t see at some other shows. Our network has grown tremendously. That being said, this was our biggest venue to date and included big name artists - this was a big increase in our overall costs. Lee and Klaus said the show exceeded their expectations which was great to hear. The good thing is that we can learn from every show and make the proper adjustments for future shows. We are already working hard behind the scenes for next year. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the convention season! - Greg

know im alittle late on this one, but thank you for actually showing the books at a comic-con and not just walking around talking to people with comics being the back drop to your video. Countless videos of comic-cons people go to are on youtube with comics being just an after thought and never being able to actually see anything unless you stop the videos. But you did a proper video with doing a slow pan of Dealers Walls and then having the video showing whats in the boxes as you searched them which was really great even while you were talking to the dealers. These are the kind of videos i love to see, as its great to see what people are selling, what they are pricing them at and just helps with that overall itch many of us get when we have not been to a comic-con in awhile. def. going to make sure i watch your other vids, and one last thing. Thank you for not editing huge chunks your videos so we can see the full experience of you searching in these boxs and just seeing the con in general.
@pop-comics6 ай бұрын
That is exactly the type of video I want to see when I see con videos so its why I film and edit them that way. I just edit out the part where I might skip quickly and not look at much so its not too boring. But leave in all the fun looking and hunting so you feel like you saw a lot of what was at the con. All my con videos are like this so there is plenty for you to watch :)

I hate it when vendors don’t price their books 🙄 great video, I love these long format ones 🎉
@pop-comics7 ай бұрын
It is frustrating when books are not priced. Usually in those situations I find books I know the value of very well, ask them what they want. If I get a price that seems reasonable or below market then I dig. If they quote me ebay asking price and not selling price then I walk away and find another spot to dig.

Sean, always fun to watch you iffle through the boxes at Cons... Your searches are giving inspiration to my Steel City Con want list. Hoping to find some cool stuff this year.. Do you have a list with your for Archies or are you sort of guessing?
@pop-comics7 ай бұрын
I go by memory, usually if its golden age I am pretty good at remembering because its hard to find them cheaply so I remember them when I do find them. The silver I mostly just grab everything I see if the price is cheap enough or the grade is high for the price. If its a duplicate I can sell it for a profit etc. And then for Bronze and newer I just grab what has a great cover knowing if its a duplicate I can sell it etc. But for the most part 1970s and 80s issues I rather buy in bulk cheaply and fill in the runs for 50 cents or a dollar etc.
@yingabc71075 ай бұрын
Hi Sean, what do you typically look for when sorting through the bins? just the condition itself ? can you elaborate what goes through your mind when searching for comics?
@pop-comics5 ай бұрын
I am looking for things I think I need for my collection in condition that is nice enough to make me happy. Usually rare comics, or from series I am collecting at the moment. I am also looking for books of value that I could sell to cover the ones I am keeping. I dont need 9.8 candidates, I just need good enough condition for the price.
