Yep, utilizing the tool that is music to confront and express the genuine of ones own turmoils and good times. Memphis music specifically underground rap has the documentary style. Meaning it really gives you the feel, that what they are expressing is not a gimmick, some agenda behind it or even trying to sale an image. ITS JUST WHAT IT IS - MUSIC THAT EXUDES FROM THE SOUL.
